How To Make Money On The Internet

January 12, 2011 in Make Money by Olgi Zenullari

With the continual growth of Internet users every single day across the globe, making money online is becoming more and more a  trending topic and the reasons why are obviously clear; you work when you want, you are your own boss and there is no limit on how much you can make

Lately I’ve been doing different SEO consulting with various friends and almost each of them has the idea to target a hyper competitive niche (such as watch movies online) and I always say no to them for the simple reason, targeting a global audience means you are going to have a global competition too

Think about a specific niche which can be applied solely in a specific location (example tahitian pearls). Let’s use Google Keyword External Tool to see the search volume and average cost per click (CPC)

As you can see from the image above, the term “tahitian pearls” gets an exact volume of 5400 searches per month (approx 180 per day) and the average CPC is an hefty $4.25 (this doesn’t mean you are going to get that amount per each click however its always positive having a greater cost per click because your earnings will be higher too)

A  last search is done on Google to see the competition for this particular term:

The competition for this keyword is only 299k sites. If you have the basic skills of seo you should probably rank in less than 2 months in TOP 5 of Google (I’m not entering into further analyzes such as checking domain age of the competitors or backlinks, just a rough example of what should you do)

So if I were you, I would definitely open a site specifically for this niche and make on autopilot 150-200 usd per month. You can easily monetize it by adding Google Adsense and affiliate programs related to tahitian pearls (you can even implement an Amazon store)

The setup of such a site wouldn’t take more than 30 minutes, another 1-2 hours to write some good quality content (for the sake of WWW, please do not post PLR / copy-pasted articles, post unique content and you will fill much better) and then start your link building strategy

Having 10-20 sites like this is a mission impossible, your only obstacle is to find the proper niches and the proper domain names (exact keywords are preferred) however the earnings (passive income) from a one time job will be quite sweet at the end of the day, believe me

How To Get Thousand of Backlinks at cheapest prices!

December 31, 2010 in SEO by Olgi Zenullari

I have always liked experimenting with different kind of backlink strategies and to be honest, the ones I have built myself (manually) have sticked much better than any automated submission service or script. Link building is a process which, if you outsource to the wrong person (aka self-claimed guru’s) can affect negatively your online rankings. Recently I have been testing a really interesting idea which, to be honest it has been around for quite sometime now however i think its now the proper time to start using it.

I’m talking about template sponsorships, which are basically designers looking for sponsors and in return you get a backlink at the footer of the template (the footer is encrypted so its difficult to change / alter the template)

How does it work?

Its quite simple, you basically bid in an auction and if you are the winner, your link will be encrypted in the footer. Usually the prices per each template are no more than $20-$30. The best thing is that after successful payment, the free template is uploaded in hundreds of free wordpress theme directories.  Based on the quality of the template, it can get as many as 1000-2000 installs per week and imagine the amount of natural links being built for your site from a single investment of $20-$30

Conclusion

If you want to build some good backlinks from different IP’s and you don’t have a large budget then this method is pretty solid and it delivers results in less than a month ( I have seen good ranking positions for my sites using this method solely). A good place to find such deals is without doubt Digital Point Forums

This is what happens when you put wrong WHOIS information

December 22, 2010 in Domain Names by Olgi Zenullari

I was doing my research on Google for “make money online” and all of a sudden saw wrong meta details for John Chow. I thought maybe it was a bug or something and quickly clicked on the link but the weirdness got larger

Its really ironic and pathetic at the same time how GoDaddy is right now using his domain name to advertise their own products. Check below the notoriously known phrase “This webpage is parked free courtesy of Godaddy.com”

Moral of the story? You better pay $2 for whois protection and you are safe in the long run rather than using fake whois because at the end of the day it will take you more than 15 hours to get the problem fixed (John Chow is still in the talks with Godaddy but no response so far)

The SEO Paradox

The SEO Paradox

November 23, 2010 in SEO by Olgi Zenullari

If I had to choose a title for myself, I would definitely be a search engine optimizer. I started out 4 years ago and everyday search engine optimization amazes me more and more. However there are different cases I would like to speak about SEO as in general and SEO as a rapidly increasing industry

On various forums I see threads by self-claimed seo gurus which charge like, $99 and would get you ranked on top of Google / Yahoo / Bing or any other search engines within 3 months. Now if this was true, I see a big contradiction in here, because why should they be working for other people when they can open sites for themselves, work fully and flip the sites at the end of each 3 months (I’m sure the profit margin will be much higher)

Official: ReadBud is a SCAM

Official: ReadBud is a SCAM

You most probably remember ReadBud, where they claimed they were paying money every time you were reading an article (with the hope that while reading you would click on the Google Adsense ads in between the posts)

Unfortunately, as predicted by many, ReadBud was nothing more than a scam site. I contacted them personally asking for a payment (I had like 120 referrals in there) but I didn’t get any replies (like 2 months have passed)

So if by chance you search on Google “get paid to read articles” don’t even spend your time on ReadBud.com because at the end of the day you wont get any cash from them

What I find really ironic is the high payout ($50) and to reach that you would need like 6-7 months so save your time and do something more efficient rather than expecting from them a payment

Here are some of the comments I have received on my blog:

Readbud is from top to bottom SCAM.
I’ve requested over a month ago my payout, but I didn’t get anything…

Here is another one

Hello, I think I do not agree with you!
Readbud is a big SCAM, better say > a big SHIT. I requested 50 dollars about 4 weeks ago> no payment on my paypal, I wrote already 5 e-mails to their support, but of course, nobody answered. I think we should not waste time with this SHIT (sorry…). They are getting the clicks and get paid for this, you only get trojan virus …. AB

Attention! You’ve been warned!

Google Adwords vs Facebook Ads

Google Adwords vs Facebook Ads

in Affiliate Marketing by Olgi Zenullari

I’ve been asked several times regarding the fact that which PPC company is better. We all are aware that Google Adwords is the absolute leader so far however after doing some small experiments with Facebook Ads I’ve seen some interesting results.

Google Adwords is geared toward a more professional audience of advertisers (where in some cases companies hire Adwords Managers to mantain their marketing campaigns) whereas Facebook Ads is quite simple, that simple that anyone with a credit card or paypal account can start advertising right away!
