How To Make Money With ClickBank
First of all you should know that clickbank is not any financial institution or a bank, it just appears to have the “bank” keyword without any intends rather than providing cash for hungry affiliates
Before learning how to make money with clickbank, you should firstly know what is clickbank so my short and straight to the point definition would be:
Clickbank is a marketplace where advertisers publish their products (e-books, scripts etc) and publishers get a percentage advertising those products (sometimes as high as 75 %)
Alright, so now you know that Clickbank is worth giving a shot. you head up and register on their site, you confirm your email address and you are automatically accepted (not like most of the affiliate companies where you have to call them even three times per day and no one cares to respond)
So after signing in, you head over at the marketplace. You will see a lot and I mean a lot of products so based on the niche you are targeting, you select your product. Since im in the make money online niche I selected Rapid Mass Traffic
So before proceeding, let me explain you the STATS and what all those details mean:
- Avg $/sale: This is the average amount that an affiliate earns for each sale of this product. This number takes into account refunds, chargebacks, and sales tax. Since vendors may offer products with different prices and commissions, the amount you earn on any given sale may not match this number exactly.
- Future $: This number only applies to recurring billing products (i.e., products like memberships and subscriptions that regularly bill customers over time). This number shows the average amount an affiliate makes on all of the rebilled sales. Note that this number doesn’t include the original sale amount.
- Total $/sale: For one-time purchases, this number is the same as $/sale. For recurring billing products, it equals the average total of the initial sale plus all rebills, divided by the number of initial sales. To put it simply, for every new purchase of this product, this amount is the average you’d make in total over the life of the new customer. However, this is just an average; this amount is not guaranteed.
- Avg %/sale: This number shows the average commission rate earned for all sales of a vendor’s products. Since vendors can offer different commission rates for different types of products, this number may not exactly match the commission rate you earn on any given sale.
- %refd: This is the percentage of sales that were referred by affiliates. This can give you an indication of how popular a product is with affiliates, and how competitive it might be to promote it.
- Grav: Short for Gravity, this number represents a unique calculation by ClickBank that takes into account the number of different affiliates who earned a commission by promoting this product over the past 8 weeks. Since more recent transactions are given a higher value, this number can give you an idea of what products are “hot” at the moment, in terms of being promoted by many affiliates and making a good number of sales. However, high gravity can also indicate that there will be a lot of competition in promoting this product.
- Cat: The Marketplace category and sub-category of the site.
So now you know why I selected this product, it has a high gravity which means many affiliate marketers are actually advertising this product
Ok, How To Make Money Now From Rapid Mass Traffic!?
There are several ways of driving traffic and getting sales, some of them require initial investments ( like PPC) whereas we are going to check a method which doesn’t have absolutely no costs, except the ones for domain and hosting
Usually, to find ways of making money online, you have to actually think as a buyer yourself, so forget the webmaster / affiliate marketer point of view and think as a newbie with the premises of purchasing such a product.
What would you do before purchasing an e-book / script / service? Of course you would check the reviews, what other people are actually saying for this product so you register a domain name which contains “review” “guide” or even “scam” as a keyword
I hear you asking, why should we use “scam” as a keyword?
To tell the truth, according to my researches, most of the people tend to search “Is [product name here] a scam?” so if you have productnamescam.com then you would surely rank in TOP 3 positions (of course based on your seo skills as well)
So, you registered the domain name, now you build a site which looks as simple as possible, you dont want to put tech savy stuff in there … don’t forget the site is targeting potential future clients so we should only focus on them and their needs.
You write a full review about the product and you make a couple of points why this product is not a scam and why should they register (in there you put your affiliate links of course)
So think like this, most of the people want to be secure before pulling out their credit cards so thats what you provide to them, guarantee, trust and professionalism.
After you setup your site you then start advertising it, building backlinks and using as an anchor text lets say “Rapid Mass Traffic Scam” and you would see that you would rank easily because the competition is not so big
There are people out there doing 4-5 figures per DAY doing the exact same method but in a larger scale and in broader niches (smoking, diets, relationships etc) but you get the idea
Also, you should take in consideration that not all of the products have a guaranteed success, thats why you have to check the gravity on Clickbank, in that way you will know that you are not alone
For this method you can also use WordPress or Blogger (free platforms) and rank as well, but the main and most difficult part is writing a review about the product, because thats the place where your visitors will land and you have to make them feel secure and that by buying that product is the best choise
In the coming weeks I might even share with you a case study from a clickbank product so stay in touch and subscribe on my RSS feeds to get the latest money making articles straight into your inbox!
