Eurovision 2010 Winner

Eurovision 2010 Winner

May 25, 2010 in General by Olgi Zenullari

For all the ones who don’t know what Eurovision is about, its a song competition among (almost) all the European countries (European countries doesn’t mean you have to be part of EU). I’ve been following Eurovision for a long time and its really frustrating and dissapointing at the same time to see how diplomacy wins over anything else. Its not a contest actually, it dates since the ancient times. We know that half of Cyprus is of a Greek nationality so every time they give 12 points to Greece.  Same as in the Balkans where Slavic countries give points to each other. Yet again the Nordic countries (Norway, Sweden, Finland) they share points with each other. It seems more like a political thing rather than an entertaining song contest

The Apple iPad Giveaway Trend

May 2, 2010 in General by Olgi Zenullari

As for almost all the previous Apple products, even for Apple iPad there has been a massive demand. Most of the top bloggers and affiliate marketers are using this method to get more traffic to their sites which would convert in more sales or earnings for them

Twitter, The Spammers Paradise

Twitter, The Spammers Paradise

June 30, 2009 in General by Olgi Zenullari

I registered an account on Twitter.com many months ago as I thought it would be a nice tool to communicate with other people which shared the same opinion and preferences like me. Started out good but its going worst and worst every day. I believe Twitter might be called the Spammers Paradise since its easy as 1-2-3 to register and start following people who you do not know or you don’t have a clue about

Different so called affiliate marketers (blackhatters) are exploiting Twitter to get more clicks and sales on their offers. There have also been created different Twitter spam tools such as twitter friend adder which basically sends out tens or even hundreds requests to follow people based on particular interests.

Twitter has limited the number of people you can follow in a day to 500. Again its a big number but at least its a good sign that the Twitter staff is taking care of this mass spamming situation.

I signed in today on my Twitter account and on my public timeline, out of 10 tweets i saw, 8 of them contained spammy links or titles such as “How to make money online” , “Make a living from XXXX” and different other senseless comments. A webmaster or a marketer will never click on something shady like that but many innocent people who use twitter might fell and click on those links

What should Twitter do to prevent spamming ?

I was thinking of some moves which will make the Twitter community a much nicer place to live and communicate with friends or with other people.

  • Make clicks unclickable
  • Email confirmation needed upon registration
  • IP recognition upon registration
  • No more than 3 consecutive tweets sent
  • Ability to report someone (if someone receives more than 50 reportings he should be banned)

Twitter is a nice concept but seems its not going at the right route. Some solid changes must be done in order to keep all of the experienced and veteran people over there happy :-)

A Nice Journey in Acropolis, Athens

February 18, 2009 in General by Olgi Zenullari

I used to live in Greece but I had never visited Acropolis! I had some holidays and I decided
to visit my sister in Athens, Greece and my little lovely niece :-)

I didn’t want to go alone so I called up my cousin and he was more than happy to show me
the awesome monuments in Acropolis.

Below you can find some interesting photos :-)

My 2009 Goals

January 1, 2009 in General by Olgi Zenullari

2009 Goals

Alright fellow readers this is my first post in 2009.  Hope this year will be
better than the previous ones in many different aspects. As many other
entrepreneurs and webmasters I would also like to share my 2009 goals which for
sure will be bigger than the previous ones.

Affiliate Marketing

I have been doing a great job in the last 2 months
via Affiliate Marketing and would like to break my personal record which is $253
in one day. Working with the proper affiliate companies and having full support
from my affiliate managers is really motivating me to aim $1000 in one
day. Many of you find this impossible or really difficult. Personally  I think
that, if I reached $250, I can reach $1000 too. Its all about rinse and repeat.
I have started analyzing different keywords and will soon launch some killer
sites which will help me achieve my goals.

ProALB

Some of you might know that I co-own ProALB company
with a partner. Its a site about website development in Albania. Offering
professional software developed sites and other marketing campaigns. I would
definitely like to take it to the next level by getting as many projects as
possible

OlgiZenullari.com

By containing my name, I am forced to post here and make this blog a
real success. So far I have had some loyal readers which have really loved my
articles. Of course this encourages me to work harder and make OZ one of the
best blogs in the blogosphere. Some sub-goals for this blog will be

  • 250 RSS Feed Readers
  • PR 5 (Actually PR 3)
  • At least 500 uniques per day
  • More than 200 unique articles

Projects

I have some projects on my mind and I will focus on fully developing them.
You will get updated on every move I make on this blog. This projects will take
a lot of time to fully develop as they need a lot of programmers and thousand of
hours to implement every single idea I have

This are my goals dear readers. I will keep you updated for everything I
might have. Don’t forget to subscribe on my feed to get different money making
ideas

Thanks for your time

Life Goes On!

December 30, 2008 in Blogging, General by Olgi Zenullari

I haven’t written any post for more than one week and I do apologize. I have had some offline issues which I’m still trying to figure out. This post is more focused on a lesson of life rather than making some cash or increasing your pagerank.

There is a saying in Albanian language

“And if you fall 99 times, you will still stand once”

Alright many of you might be asking what’s this is all about? I have been reading different inspirational blogs which have been able to provide good information and always shared secrets with their readers. One of those guys is Paul Bourque. He has been a great affiliate marketer making hundreds of thousands each month. He was a true inspiration for many new entrepreneurs or affiliate marketers who wanted to start making money online. Many entrepreneurs wanted to be like him but what has happened lastly has really made me think twice, that’s why I wrote this post.

Paul is that kind of guy who knows what he talks about, never says it’s white when it’s actually blue and always willing to give support. He also used to make a lot of money online (more than many might make in a year). He also had a nice girlfriend which he really loved. So far it seems like a fairy tale, something like utopia. The problems started when he broke off with his girlfriend. Breaking off from someone who means the world to you, is never easy. I imagine breaking off from my girlfriend … I couldn’t swallow it but hey, it’s not the end of the world. You are neither the first nor the last. His earnings have decreased drastically (last month he made approx $180 profit) so where is the super duper affiliate we were used to see all the time? Where are all those huge earnings, those inspiring posts?

Many want to be on your footsteps Paul but this isn’t the proper way. You shouldn’t be pessimistic. This mood won’t help you get better. It’s time to move, bigger projects, new life. Show to your ex-girlfriend that she was wrong, that she had a great boyfriend once but she lost it and she will never ever have a better one. This can only be achieved by working hard and getting again those huge commissions.

Of course I don’t know the causes of the break off but I see Paul’s behavior and I can say that he is suffering a lot. Take this post as an indicator which guides you to move on and never turn back the time. Don’t let your past influence your future.

To all the ones which might have been in a similar situation. You should know what to do and how to react, it’s not easy but again I repeat it, that’s life. We are just temporal passengers in this world . . .
Thanks for your attention
