Eurovision 2010 Winner
For all the ones who don’t know what Eurovision is about, its a song competition among (almost) all the European countries (European countries doesn’t mean you have to be part of EU). I’ve been following Eurovision for a long time and its really frustrating and dissapointing at the same time to see how diplomacy wins over anything else. Its not a contest actually, it dates since the ancient times. We know that half of Cyprus is of a Greek nationality so every time they give 12 points to Greece. Same as in the Balkans where Slavic countries give points to each other. Yet again the Nordic countries (Norway, Sweden, Finland) they share points with each other. It seems more like a political thing rather than an entertaining song contest
Anyway, just because there’s a little fraud involved doesn’t mean its not a nice contest to watch, there are quite some nice songs. Personally I believe that the winner of 2010 eurovision contest will be Germany with the song Satellite – Lena
Its quite a dynamic song, a nice beat and she is kinda cute. These kind of songs are said to attract more votes rather than rap songs or other similar genres. Me being an Albanian doesn’t mean I have to shout and scream that Albania is going to win, but if you listen to it, you might even like it more than the Satellite song, at least the Albanian song is much powerful than Greece, Serbia, Portugal or any other country I have seen so far!

So for once in your life, do not vote for countries just because you are allies, this is not the World War for gods sake, vote for the song that trembles all your body! Vote for the best! Vote for the winner!
