One of the many factors which affect the ranking position of a site in Google is without doubt the age of the domain name. By that, I don’t solely mean a domain name which is old but a domain name which is old and has been for a long time on Google’s index. Personally I’ve got a couple of +15 year old domain names and they can rank higher / easier than a new domain name. So in case you’re here you most probably want to register an aged domain name so enough with the words, lets get down to business.

GoDaddy Auctions

Don’t panic about GoDaddy, no matter whether you like or not their domain registration services, I would highly recommend its auctions because you can find absolute bargains for very powerful domain names. So that’s a little secret I’m about to share with you, lets head over to GoDaddy Auctions and see what aged domains can we grab.

On your right you can see the below listed image, just click on Domain Age and write the age you would like the domain to have, then you will see if there are any available. In the example below I’ve used 10 to 15 years which will show me all the domain names older than 10 years up to 15.

You then click Search and voila, all the available domain names with the specified attributes will be listed. From the example above here are the current results and I confirmed that most of the domains are older than 10 years!

So look at the above listed domains, you can have any of them for as low as $5 up to $10 and there are literally hundreds of domains to choose from!

How To Make Money From Aged Domains?

You can either flip the domains for at least 10x profit (either sell it on Flippa, Namepros or Digital Point) but I would better recommend doing what most of the seo guys do, build sites on them and use them to pass link juice to your main sites! So basically you can build thousands of links on such domains since they are old enough and bulletproof from any penalization from Google and pass the link juice to the main site of yours

In case you find an aged domain (+10 years) which is also an EMD (exact match domain) then you’ve strike gold so continue to dig deeper and deeper as you would probably outrank any competitors on Google

With the continual growth of Internet users every single day across the globe, making money online is becoming more and more a  trending topic and the reasons why are obviously clear; you work when you want, you are your own boss and there is no limit on how much you can make

Lately I’ve been doing different SEO consulting with various friends and almost each of them has the idea to target a hyper competitive niche (such as watch movies online) and I always say no to them for the simple reason, targeting a global audience means you are going to have a global competition too

Think about a specific niche which can be applied solely in a specific location (example tahitian pearls). Let’s use Google Keyword External Tool to see the search volume and average cost per click (CPC)

As you can see from the image above, the term “tahitian pearls” gets an exact volume of 5400 searches per month (approx 180 per day) and the average CPC is an hefty $4.25 (this doesn’t mean you are going to get that amount per each click however its always positive having a greater cost per click because your earnings will be higher too)

A  last search is done on Google to see the competition for this particular term:

The competition for this keyword is only 299k sites. If you have the basic skills of seo you should probably rank in less than 2 months in TOP 5 of Google (I’m not entering into further analyzes such as checking domain age of the competitors or backlinks, just a rough example of what should you do)

So if I were you, I would definitely open a site specifically for this niche and make on autopilot 150-200 usd per month. You can easily monetize it by adding Google Adsense and affiliate programs related to tahitian pearls (you can even implement an Amazon store)

The setup of such a site wouldn’t take more than 30 minutes, another 1-2 hours to write some good quality content (for the sake of WWW, please do not post PLR / copy-pasted articles, post unique content and you will fill much better) and then start your link building strategy

Having 10-20 sites like this is a mission impossible, your only obstacle is to find the proper niches and the proper domain names (exact keywords are preferred) however the earnings (passive income) from a one time job will be quite sweet at the end of the day, believe me

You most probably remember ReadBud, where they claimed they were paying money every time you were reading an article (with the hope that while reading you would click on the Google Adsense ads in between the posts)

Unfortunately, as predicted by many, ReadBud was nothing more than a scam site. I contacted them personally asking for a payment (I had like 120 referrals in there) but I didn’t get any replies (like 2 months have passed)

So if by chance you search on Google “get paid to read articles” don’t even spend your time on ReadBud.com because at the end of the day you wont get any cash from them

What I find really ironic is the high payout ($50) and to reach that you would need like 6-7 months so save your time and do something more efficient rather than expecting from them a payment

Personally I joined eToro 3 years back, I remember I didn’t have a clue about it however  I got lucky playing and won some hundreds of dollars. What I like most about eToro is their excellent affiliate program. I’ve been using different marketing methods to get signups and it works out like a charm!

Coupon sites seem to be generating quite a lot of money lately, due to the fact that every single person is looking for a coupon or a promo code so he can save some dollars from his purchase. Now what I find interesting, is the fact that there are some coupon sites out there which are posting coupons and promo codes for sites that don’t even have a place where to put the code

Do you guess why they are doing this? Well, go figure it out! Its for the only purpose of getting the referral commission. Yes you heard it right, coupon site owners want you to click for the coupons and once you do so, their affiliate cookie is stored on your browser so whenever you decide to purchase the product (which most probably you will since you are looking for a promo code) they get their cut

Now even though many of you might call this a blackhat method where you fool your visitors, I think its a nice tricky method to generate passive income through all your visitors. This method can work flawlessly and really quickly as long you setup your site and do some basic seo.
I repeat basic seo because you are going to compete for keywords like “script name coupon code” or “product promo code” and the competition will be much lower than in other highly competitive markets
