I received this call just now. In 2011 and this phone prank is still going on. Pretty disturbing to read this stuff dated 2 to 3 years old..

weird, i got this call an hour back or so..din’t get anything, talked for a second, very fast and then silents..and i hang up. Date 13.02.2010 18:43 Estonia time

I got 3 or 4 of these calls in the pst 3 mos. Couldn’t figure out the point of this scam (my name is Mike, btw, so for a while I thought my drunk friends were playing with me). Finally decide to Google, found a bunch of references.

Some thoughts:

- our numbers are in some spammers’ database

- the objective of the scam (when you actually see the # on the caller ID) is probably to get you to call back, and then the recipient is getting some kind of micro-payments

- or, this could be a test, in preparation for some kind of massive denial-of-service dialing attack

HI to all, I’m getting the same exact call ” do you hear me” Mike…Mike Hutchinson”
Is there a way to block this caller? It’s geting to very irritating. It calls my mobile every hour and at night time as well. Please ITs, help me out here.
