Continuity, The Secret Formula To Successful Blogging

Continuity, The Secret Formula To Successful Blogging

May 26, 2009 in Blogging by Olgi Zenullari

I was reading an old post (probably 2006) at Yaro’s blog, Entrepreneurs-Journey and was looking at the comments. I clicked on 2-3 on the commentators sites and what I found were just some parked pages. I felt a bit sorry for those guys who started something before 3 years and couldn’t keep it up. Even if they didn’t know what to write, at least it would have been much more profitable to keep the site active rather than just park it or let the domain name expire

The problem with most of the bloggers (especially the ones teaching others or writing parkedtutorials) is that they get bored really quickly from their blogs. Even though you might not have anything good to write or share with your readers, at least pay renew your domain name and your hosting for a couple more years.

From some personal research I have done, most of the blogs which were opened in the last 2-3 years receive more traffic from the search engines and hence they have more subscribers.

What most of you don’t understand is that, only a small percentage of the world population is using the internet wisely and even a smaller percentage knows webmaster related stuff. If your blog would be up and living, even if you wouldn’t update it anymore you would still get organic traffic from your previous posts.

Understand that the new generation (which is now 7-10 year old) doesn’t know anything about affiliate marketing or other specific webmaster topics. They would be using different ways to find the need information (search engines, social bookmarks, etc ..) to become webmasters or even affiliate marketers. So they will need guides and tutorials which you have written before but just because you neglected to pay $10 for another year you lost all your writings and all your tutorials.

Conclusion

Blogging is like growing a plant, more you take care, more it will grow and produce some wonderful flowers. If you start a blog, make sure you do it correctly and write about what you know better but never let your dream die, if you aren’t making money just because someone didnt click on your affiliate banner, don’t worry, in the coming years someone will click but until then … you better pay your hosting & domain name ;)

What To Blog About When You Are Out of Ideas

What To Blog About When You Are Out of Ideas

April 26, 2009 in Blogging by Olgi Zenullari

I bet that almost all the bloggers have faced difficulties finding new ideas what to write about and due to lack of imagination or content they haven’t updated their blogs for a long period. Now since you are on a specific niche, I would not recommend you post useless posts or paid reviews, it would just harm your loyal readership.

It is true that I haven’t been blogging for a long time but that’s not because I don’t know what to blog about, but because my time is extremely limited and yet again I try to take care of this blog (without doubt as it has my name ;)

So you are logged in and you have just clicked “Add New” post and everything is white and you cant concentrate or you just don’t know what to write about.

The solution is plain simple, check out webmaster forums (i assume you have a MMO blog or webmaster blog) and see what are different users asking.

Thats a good idea and not only you post one more article in your blog but you also get another visitor which you know perfectly that he is interested in what you have written

From my personal experience, someone was asking over at NamePros forums how you could make money via blogs. Now it is true that there are thousand of articles which already have explained how you can generate revenue with blogs,  I still wrote a tutorial and told him on a private message that everything he wanted to know was already posted in an article.

Not only that, but I opened a thread as well on NamePros so everyone could share their ideas and of course, at the bottom of the article I added the source (my blog link)

Result !? See the screenshot below

How To Generate Cash From Blogs

So as you can see, by a simple article I got more than 5,500 views and most of them also clicked on my signature and checked what other articles I had on my blog

Conclusion

If you dont have what to write about, just visit different big forums (specifically Digital Point) and look for different questions being asked. It will never ever get saturated as tens or even hundreds of questions are being asked per day.

If you liked this article, dont hesitate to subscribe and read my coming posts, I’m sure you gonna like them as I am preparing to launch some contents … until then … have a nice day ;)

Follow The White Rabbit – Matrix in WordPress!!!

January 5, 2009 in Blogging by Olgi Zenullari

Hello Dear Friends,

Its late over here (almost 1:20 AM) and I was writing an article on wordpress
when I saw something which was really interesting and incredible at the same
time. I thought I was dreaming or someone was controlling my computer!!! If you
remember Matrix, it was the exact same thing

For all the skeptics out there, if you don’t believe me, try it by yourself !!!

First of all start writing a new article. Make sure you save it and then make
some changes and save it again. Check out your Post Revisions stats (at the end
of your new post page) It should be something like this

Click on one of the saves, a new page will open. The scroll down and select
the same circles as below

Click on Compare Revisions and let the magic begin !!!

Your comments are appreciated :-)

Thanks

Six Changes Which Improved My Blog!

January 3, 2009 in Blogging by Olgi Zenullari

HTML clipboardHello Dear Friends,

Since its already 2009 I thought to make some changes on this blog as I wasn’t sure about the current layout and some other stuff. I added some interesting stuff which I strongly believe improved how my blog looks and actually functions. You can read all of changes (actually six ones) below

  1. Twitter
I have heard promising things about Twitter and I thought I could give it a go. You can follow my by clicking on the bird on the left. It seems really kind right? :-)
  2. Bigger RSS Icon
I found this rss icon and it was perfectly matching up my blog design and I thought I could use it, of course I believe it will increase my RSS Subscription Readers (If you haven’t subscribed yet, try it out now)
  3. Email Subscription
Alright I believe one of the most important things of every blogger is their email subscription list. I added a new design for the “Subscribe” button, hope it will convert much better now :-)
  4. Sociable
Sociable is a nice little plugin which lets you automatically add links to your favorite bookmarking site. You can check them under every single post. If you like my articles, you can use them for sure. In this way I will understand that you like my articles and will keep me motivated to write more and more
  5. Recommended Moneymakers
If you see at the bottom-left, you will see some logos of different Affiliate Companies. I thought it was much better adding graphical banners rather than dull text
  6. Short About Me
At the bottom, on the right side you can see a picture of mine (taken before 4 days) and some text which describes me and what I do online. To read all my autobiography you can click on About Me

So this was all about my changes. If you think your blog needs some changes and improvements you better start them doing right now as its the proper time

Thanks for your attention

Life Goes On!

December 30, 2008 in Blogging, General by Olgi Zenullari

I haven’t written any post for more than one week and I do apologize. I have had some offline issues which I’m still trying to figure out. This post is more focused on a lesson of life rather than making some cash or increasing your pagerank.

There is a saying in Albanian language

“And if you fall 99 times, you will still stand once”

Alright many of you might be asking what’s this is all about? I have been reading different inspirational blogs which have been able to provide good information and always shared secrets with their readers. One of those guys is Paul Bourque. He has been a great affiliate marketer making hundreds of thousands each month. He was a true inspiration for many new entrepreneurs or affiliate marketers who wanted to start making money online. Many entrepreneurs wanted to be like him but what has happened lastly has really made me think twice, that’s why I wrote this post.

Paul is that kind of guy who knows what he talks about, never says it’s white when it’s actually blue and always willing to give support. He also used to make a lot of money online (more than many might make in a year). He also had a nice girlfriend which he really loved. So far it seems like a fairy tale, something like utopia. The problems started when he broke off with his girlfriend. Breaking off from someone who means the world to you, is never easy. I imagine breaking off from my girlfriend … I couldn’t swallow it but hey, it’s not the end of the world. You are neither the first nor the last. His earnings have decreased drastically (last month he made approx $180 profit) so where is the super duper affiliate we were used to see all the time? Where are all those huge earnings, those inspiring posts?

Many want to be on your footsteps Paul but this isn’t the proper way. You shouldn’t be pessimistic. This mood won’t help you get better. It’s time to move, bigger projects, new life. Show to your ex-girlfriend that she was wrong, that she had a great boyfriend once but she lost it and she will never ever have a better one. This can only be achieved by working hard and getting again those huge commissions.

Of course I don’t know the causes of the break off but I see Paul’s behavior and I can say that he is suffering a lot. Take this post as an indicator which guides you to move on and never turn back the time. Don’t let your past influence your future.

To all the ones which might have been in a similar situation. You should know what to do and how to react, it’s not easy but again I repeat it, that’s life. We are just temporal passengers in this world . . .
