Alright fellow readers of my blog. I know you might be a little bit shocked from the title since it doesn’t have any relation with the niche I am actually writing (affiliate marketing , webmaster, blogging tips) but this is an interesting read and I am sure you gonna enjoy it.

The story began 6 months from now.I was getting some strange phone calls on my private mobile number but I couldn’t see the number as it was always masked (private call). Firstly I thought it must have been a joke from my friends but it was really weird because all the time i was hearing the same voice and the same words

“Hello”… “do you hear me?” … “Can I speak to Mike please?”… “Mike Hutchinson”

The last few calls I received, the number wasn’t masked so I found his number: 004951234567

Had some spare time and I googled the above number and I was blown away from the results I saw.

I was not alone, affected from the same mysterious call were and 40-50 other people from all the corners of the world.

I would highly recommend you to read THIS PAGE as it is filled with mysterious information, people complaining about 10-20 phone calls in each day and all of them from the same bot / maniac “The Mike VIRUS”

I didn’t get any phone calls for about 1 month until one day before… It was around 11:47 PM and my dad’s mobile rang .. He was sleeping so I quickly answered . . . the same message … again “The Mike Virus” but now from a different brand new number (as I googled it and I didnt get any revelant results)

The new number was: +518100127 and what it really amazed me even more was the fact that the previous number is a PRIME Number … so is this just by chance or something is going on?

I bet that almost all the bloggers have faced difficulties finding new ideas what to write about and due to lack of imagination or content they haven’t updated their blogs for a long period. Now since you are on a specific niche, I would not recommend you post useless posts or paid reviews, it would just harm your loyal readership.

It is true that I haven’t been blogging for a long time but that’s not because I don’t know what to blog about, but because my time is extremely limited and yet again I try to take care of this blog (without doubt as it has my name ;)

So you are logged in and you have just clicked “Add New” post and everything is white and you cant concentrate or you just don’t know what to write about.

The solution is plain simple, check out webmaster forums (i assume you have a MMO blog or webmaster blog) and see what are different users asking.

Thats a good idea and not only you post one more article in your blog but you also get another visitor which you know perfectly that he is interested in what you have written

From my personal experience, someone was asking over at NamePros forums how you could make money via blogs. Now it is true that there are thousand of articles which already have explained how you can generate revenue with blogs,  I still wrote a tutorial and told him on a private message that everything he wanted to know was already posted in an article.

Not only that, but I opened a thread as well on NamePros so everyone could share their ideas and of course, at the bottom of the article I added the source (my blog link)

Result !? See the screenshot below

So as you can see, by a simple article I got more than 5,500 views and most of them also clicked on my signature and checked what other articles I had on my blog

Conclusion

If you dont have what to write about, just visit different big forums (specifically Digital Point) and look for different questions being asked. It will never ever get saturated as tens or even hundreds of questions are being asked per day.

Twitter is becoming one of the fastest growing social networks with a growth rate of more than 55 % per month. More than hundreds of different applications have been developed for a better usage of Twitter.

Twitter has been mentioned almost anywhere and even big corporations or celebrities are using Twitter. A good idea would be to open micro-niche blogging sites just like Twitter, but focused on a specific niche.

Open Source Twitter Clones

Actually there exist a couple of twitter clones but the most interesting version which I would definitely give a go is Laconica

Laconica (pronounced “luh-KAWN-ih-kuh”) is a Free and Open Source microblogging platform. It helps people in a community, company or group to exchange short (140 character) messages over the Web. Users can choose which people to “follow” and receive only their friends’ or colleagues’ status messages. It provides a similar service to sites like Twitter, Jaiku, and Plurk.

A Twitter like site, designed particularly for a specific niche can go viral immediately and the potential actually is quite big. Once you set it up properly, you only have to market it all over the internet (no spam) and you gonna see some activity on your own twitter clone site

With the current situation of most important tld’s (.com , .net , .org) it is really difficult to find some good, short and easy to remember domains due to the fact that almost all of them have been registered.

This situation leads all of us in exploring new markets where we can possibly get some nice and short domain names for our future projects. First of all you should know the proper resources needed to find some good and catchy short domain names.

There is an interesting list over at NORID, which shows all the possible cctld’s and their official site where you can register domain names. Now most of them wouldn’t let you register 2 letter domain names however I have found a some sites which will let you register them (at the end of the day, its all about the benjamins :P)

• .GM -  (Register 2 character .GM names)
  At the time I am currently writing this domain names such as ba.gm , im.gm , my.gm and many other
• .IO – (Register 2 character .IO names)
  At the time I am currently writing this article, domain names such as wu.io , ko.io , du.io and many other

I registered a 2 character domain name, now what?

They can be developed quickly if you have the needed resources. I am listing below some of the possible and good ways on what to turn your 2 character domain names

1. Image Hosting Site

There will always be a big demand for image hosting sites, you can create a nice looking site and use one of the many free scripts available. a 2 char domain name is much more effective and easy to remember than a 6 or 7 char .com

2. Url Shortner

I believe another very clever idea of using 2 character domain names is a url shortning service available for all, basically your link will look something like mo.pn/24 so I think its worth the time and money

3. Directory

Two character domain names, in specific .CCTLD’s seem to be available for purchase. The idea is plain simple, you can run anything or even a turnkey on that site and make a profit.
