Banned from Adsense? Just Sue Google!

March 25, 2009 in News by Olgi Zenullari

Many innocent Adsense publishers have been banned for no reason at all. I have been banned for no reason at all from Google Adsense. Even though I wanted to hear their story, no reply to my emails, only automated emails which never ever delivered any important information.

While going through our records recently, we found that your AdSense account has posed a significant risk to our AdWords advertisers. Since keeping your account in our publisher network may financially damage our advertisers in the future, we’ve decided to disable your AdSense account.

The same thing happened to Aaron Greenspan, owner of Think Computer Corporation. He received the same email as above and he lost approximately $721

He then emailed Google Adsense to ask for a reason but no reply from them, except an automated email as always.

So basically Google didn’t give a proper reason why Aaron was banned (and i think most of the banned publishers dont get a reason as well)

The judge, after hearing both both of the parties (The Google Representative and Aaron Greenspan) said

I don’t think I have the power here in Palo Alto small claims court to make you reinstate his account, but I think you owe this young man $721,” he said finally. “I think there might be money in Google’s treasury for that

Google Adsense wrote a check for Aaron for a total of $741 where $40 were gone for the court expenses.

What Happens When a Domain Name Expires ?

March 14, 2009 in Domain Names by Olgi Zenullari

Alright fellow readers it is true that I havent been posting here since a long time ago but I have had some offline projects and I have decided to inform you about all my projects and plans so you can duplicate in your own countries and make some profit.

We all know that almost all the good domain names have been registered (.com). I was trying yesterday for more than 2 hours different domain name ideas but all of them were registered and what is really annoying, all of those domain names were parked.

Rule Number One

If you want a domain name and it is parked, do not contact the seller and ask whether is for sale or not. Most probably its for sale but if you show your interest he might play with the price so better get it in a sneaky way.

What happens when a domain expires ?

This is an interesting question which everyone loves to know the answer. When a domain name expires, the owner has a specified period of time (30 days) to renew it. If the domain name is still not registered then it enters the deletion phase where all the sensitive information which is held of the Verisign’s database is deleted. A domain name can be opened to new registrations again after approximately 75 days (not in all the cases though)

Competing Against Bots

After 75 days “you” can register the domain name as it becomes available again. The problem is that you have to compete against 4 really powerful companeis  which ping almost every 5 minutes the verisign’s servers for newly released domain names. It is almost impossible to beat the robots and register the domain name

How to register an expiring domain name?

Depends on the kind of name,  but usually you have to backorder it. If two or more people show their interest on the same domain name,  an auction will be held and the highest bidder will be the new owner of the domain name.

Some of the most well known players in the industry for expired domain names and live auctions are

  • Pool.com
  • SnapNames.com
  • NameJet.com

So friends, if you really want a domain name, patience is the key. Of course you are going to pay at the end of the road some cash but trust me, its worth having good domain names in these days
